Olivier Renière banned
Steroids have once again brought trouble for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) football.
A running back with the Université de Montréal Carabins, Olivier Renière, was found to be using a substance on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s 2011 “prohibited list” and will be banned for two years from all CIS sports.

Positive tests in India trials
According to NADA (National Anti-Doping Agency), ten out of 21 samples taken during a trial for the second Kabaddi World Cup have tested positive for banned steroids and a stimulant.
Kabaddi players’ samples contained prohibited steroids stanozolol, boldenone, nandrolone, and stimulant phentermine.

Excess clenbuterol found in Quarter Horse World Champion
Freaky, the 2009 Quarter Horse World Champion, tested in excess of the permitted level of clenbuterol taken after his win in the Go Man Go Handicap at Los Alamitos on Sept. 11, according to a recently released California Horse Racing Board complaint.
According to racing board officials, Freaky will be disqualified from the $100,000 purse.

Four-year suspension for Hammer thrower
A suspension of four years has been accepted by Hammer thrower Matthew DiBuono of New Rochelle, N.Y. after testing positive for the presence of anabolic agents.
The thrower tested positive for the presence of synthetic steroids, according to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

Ban for weightlifting champion
A ban of nearly three years for doping has been imposed on Liao Hui, the Chinese Olympic weightlifting champion.
The announcement was made by Xinhua, the state news agency that also said Hui would be missing the London Games.

Hardy kicked out of rehab
Matt Hardy has been kicked out of the WWE-sponsored impatient drug rehab after he violated terms of the release agreement on drug charges in September, according to TMZ.
Hardy’s behavior made staff members at the rehab facility suspicious and he was asked to give a breathalyzer test, which he failed.
