The reports say that the occupants of the said residence were smoking marijuana and this led to a warrant to search the premises. The owner of the house is Salomon Aragon, Jr., 22 years old, and he permitted the officers to their raid. What they found were different prescription drugs enough for Aragon to market in a small pharmacy.

From Press Citizen:

Police reports state that officers found occupants of the residence smoking marijuana. Police said Aragon consented to a search, during which police found numerous pills that were later sent to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation for testing. Police said Aragon had 100 pills of Tamoxifen, 101 pills of Clomiphene, four tablets of methylphenidate, five vials of testosterone, 51 pills of oxandrolone and 38 pills of stanozolol.

Police said Aragon didn’t have any prescriptions for the pills.

All these drugs have some clinical value. Tamoxifen, for example, is used to treat breast cancer in patients responsive to hormone therapy. The common factor among the drugs that have been seized, however, is that they can all be used as performance enhancing drugs. Clomiphene, testosterone, oxandrolone and stanozolol are all anabolic androgenic steroids used by bodybuilders to gain mass and strength. All of these are illegal to possess without a prescription. Aragon was charged of illegal possession of controlled substances, possession of prescription medication and violation of Iowa Drug Tax Stamp. He managed to post bail a few days after his arrest and now he can’t be found or contacted to give his comments on the issue.
