Pacquiao accused of steroids, again

By admin | Nov 13, 2009

A few months ago, Floyd Mayweather Sr. threw accusations on Pacquiao, saying that the world champion is using steroids and that is precisely what is helping him win his fights. Mayweather Sr. insisted that the reason Pacquiao always comes clean in his drug tests was that people around him are not willing to speak up about what they know.

Recently, in an interview with boxer Kermit Cintron in Ring Talk, hosted by Pedro Fernandez, the pound for pound king was again accused of steroids use.

According to Cintron, he believes that Pacquiao is on steroids or some kind of performance-enhancing drug.

Cintron doubts Pacquiao’s sudden weight gain from 112 lbs to 147 lbs. According to the boxer, most people who come up to a weight like that holds water weight and looks soft. However, in the case of Pacquiao, it looks like his muscles are just so ripped. Cintron even referred to Pacquiao looking like Bruce Lee.

Although Pacquiao has never failed a drug test, Cintron is certain that Pacquiao’s sudden weight gain is just questionable.

Aside from this opinion, Cintron also predicted that Pacquiao would lose over Miguel Cotto on their upcoming fight this Saturday.

From Now Boxing:

In a radio interview with Ring Talk, host Pedro Fernandez asked boxer Kermit Cintron about the upcoming HBO Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight, Kermit Cintron, who fights at the 147 and 154-pound weight classes, told Fernandez that he believes Manny Pacquiao is on some type of steroids/enhancers.
