The baseball season is about to start and Alex Rodriguez is still out making waves, although these are small ones next to his admission on his steroid use. If he’s not making the newspaper headlines he makes the news at a small college in Riverdale. The Manhattan College Television (MCTV) aired an interview with A-Rod where he revealed his sources for the performance enhancing drugs. Not only that he also didn’t mince words when he said he liked picking up women at a nearby bar called Fenwicks.

“I had a cousin, who had a friend, who had a stepfather, whose son’s friend helped me out,” said Rodriguez. “He was from MC. We would work out at Draddy Gym all the time.”
The supplier lived in Jasper Hall, where all the drug dealers at the school reside. Brother Ralph Bucci, Head of Resident Life, declined comment.
When asked if anybody at the school knew what was going on, Rodriguez replied, “Sure, the Athletic Director Bob Byrnes knew, but just like anything else wrong with sports at the school, he decided it would be better not to take action.”
Byrnes refused to comment.
After the interview, A-Rod began to apologize to the school for putting them through humiliation. However, he didn’t act contrite for picking up women at the bar. He even said he enjoyed the company of the women. When Fenwick was asked to comment, they said they were not aware that underage women were able to get in the bar. In fact, they have tight security, double-checking the IDs all the time.
Dean of Students Collette Geary was infuriated when she heard the news that underage kids can get into Fenwicks. But she apologized when she didn’t realize the Yankees star was already 33 years old. She refused to comment when she was asked what she thought that students in college use steroids with a man like Rodriguez.
