Steroids have once again brought trouble for the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) football.
A running back with the Université de Montréal Carabins, Olivier Renière, was found to be using a substance on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s 2011 “prohibited list” and will be banned for two years from all CIS sports.

Steroid ring suspects make court appearance

More than a dozen of the suspects arrested in a two-year multi-state and multi-agency investigation into a massive anabolic steroid ring appeared in the Warren County Court recently.

Drug charges against Mr Gay dropped

Mark Carter, a police officer and former Mr Gay UK, who was cleared of raping a man in June, has had the remaining charges against him dropped.

Pc Mark Carter, a West Yorkshire police officer and former Mr. Gay UK, has denied a drug offence alleging possession of an anabolic steroid.
