Doping tests should be scrapped for international sports
According to a research published ahead of print in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, and steroid (testosterone) doping tests should be scrapped for international sporting events since they ignore ethnic disparities in hormonal activity.
A single indiscriminate threshold for picking up steroid abuse in international sport is no fit for the purpose, the research said.
